How Can I Help?
Cash, Check or Credit Card
A cash gift is available immediately to support the needs
on our wish lists. State funding of our programs rarely stretches
to include the "extras" we feel are critical to
community living and individual success. Each year, programs
submit wish lists identifying projects, supplies or activities
they would like to offer to the individuals served by their
program.
In recent months, donor support has provided: more than 600
holiday gifts for individuals in our programs, a trip to a
Boston Bruins game for young people in our School House residence,
and ongoing program support for at-risk youth.
Some Other Ways to Help...
Gifts of Securities: Gifts of appreciated
securities may be deducted at full market value on the date
of transfer to The Bridge.
Bequest: You can include The Bridge in your
will by either specifying an amount or percentage of the remainder
of your estate.
Corporate Sponsorships: We welcome corporate
or business sponsors for a variety of events sponsored by
The Bridge.
Matching Gifts: Many corporations will match
donations made to charitable institutions by employees. If
you would like information about your companies program, please
contact your personnel office.
Our In-Kind Wish List: The Bridge is always
in need of items for our many homes and programs. If you have
sports equipment, movie passes, or tickets to sporting or
other events, we would love to pass them on to those we serve.
In addition, we accept: furniture and small appliances that
have been kept in good condition.
