Collaborating with the City of Worcester
The Bridge is participating in the Greater Worcester Community Health Improvement Plan, serving as a convener of the Mental Health group and a member of the Substance Abuse Group. In addition, The Bridge is a participant in Quality of Life Task Force Meetings, Worcester Continuum of Care and Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance Meetings.
Collaborating with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health
Bridge staff are presenting at a day-long session on Dual Recovery: The Intersection of Mental Health and Addiction Supports sponsored by DMH Central Massachusetts and Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital on March 28, 2017. The session is designed to explore evidence-based mental health and addiction support models.
The Bridge is participating in a day-long session on Family-Centered Care for Young Adults and Adults Receiving Mental Health Services on April 13, 2017 at the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital. Family-centered care recognizes the importance of family members and care givers in the lives of young adults and adults receiving mental health services.
