The Bridge of Central Massachusetts seeks help in providing at least one holiday gift for each of the individuals it serves. The Holiday Gift program begins in the fall and wraps up in mid-December each year.
The holiday season is the perfect time to show those around you how much you care. For many of us, we come together as families and friends to celebrate. And as we share warm dinners, we also exchange gifts. Yet, there are those who do not have any of this for the holidays; no family or friends and not one gift to open. But you can change that.
We ask you to consider making a donation of cash or gift certificates, one or more items for the Holiday Gift Drive. Examples of items for donation are towels, bedding (twin size), Sweatshirts, art supplies, kitchen items, hats, mittens and gloves, scarves, gift cards to grocery stores and supermarkets and personal care items.”
Developing connections is a key theme in every Bridge program. The homes we provide and the relationships we foster supply a sense of family and community that individuals we serve may not be able to form elsewhere.
Like most families, we celebrate the holidays together. Our goal is to get a gift to each of the individuals in need who are served by The Bridge. One gift is not a lot, in fact most of us get many more. You can help us achieve this goal.
If you work for a large company or have a club, organization or circle of friends who may wish to come together and donate a group of gifts, that would be especially helpful.
