The Health and Wellness Initiative


Did you know that individuals with mental health challenges die on average 25 years sooner than others? The cause?  Cardiovascular disease and other preventable illnesses caused by smoking, poor nutrition and sedentary lifestyles among other things.

The Bridge has developed a multi-pronged effort to promote policy, environmental and behavioral changes to increase healthy eating, active lifestyles and smoke-free living for all members of The Bridge community.
